Cider Guild: All Club Pressing

Who’s got apples to press?

Signup for a 30m slot by RSVPing and adding a time preference (if you have one) in the “Message for the Event Host” field (i.e. ‘before 3’, or maybe ‘after 2’, that sort of thing - ‘anytime’ is also a welcome timeslot preference!).

I’ll send an reminder email out the Friday before with timeslots assigne.

Here’s what to expect for pressing:

  • 30m is usually enough time to press ~100-150 lbs of apples, yielding 5-10⁺ gallons of juice.

  • No groundfall apples will be accepted - no exceptions!

  • Please bring vessels to put your juice in - always best to overestimate!

  • Please also bring buckets, bins or bags to bring your post pressing pomace home with you.

  • Having your apples as ready to press as possible is welcome, especially if we’ve got a lot of folks that want to get in on pressing. If you want to wash your apples, please wash them at home or please arrive early to wash them ahead of your time slot. We will have rinsing bins available.

  • We’ll do our best to get you in your designated time slot, but we’ll definitely get you your 30 minutes!

Thanks for working together club!

Volunteers welcome!
