Peninsula Fruit Club invites the local community to attend a free hands-on bud grafting class on 01 August from 9:00 am to approx. 2:00 pm. Lunch will be included.

Class will cover a lecture on planting, pruning, shaping and watering new trees. A demo on how to bud graft, and then hands-on experience of bud grafting your own apple tree. You may choose to take your tree home. 1 tree per family. Rootstock is Geneva 969.

We have several hundred apple varieties to choose from. In the email: Please include your first and second apple variety choice.

Class will be held outdoors in Olalla. Address will be provided to class sign-ups.

Attendees will need to bring a chair to sit in and a large plastic sack (garbage bag) if they choose to take their tree home with them.
