Mark your calendars and RSVP below! The 2026 VIFC annual members meeting is scheduled for 11:30 - 2:30 on Saturday, January 24, 2026. 

Overview

Doors will open at 11:30 for mingling and paying dues and the official meeting starts at 12:00. We’ll be sharing club survey results, discussing plans for the coming year, voting on proposed bylaws changes, voting on board members, crowning the Volunteer of the Year, and more. We’ll wrap up the day with “The Big Swap” starting around 1:15 immediately following the member meeting.

The Big Swap

What’s the Big Swap? VIFC’s first ever fruit-oriented swap event! This will be a “share one, take one” kind of get-together — so bring your bare root or potted fruit plants, spare tools, canning jars, recipes, food, seeds, or anything else you might want to trade. If you need items but don’t have any to offer, consider work trade, volunteer time, or other creative options. This will be a great opportunity to meet other club members, socialize, and of course share our fruit-growing knowledge.

Etiquette:  

• No alcohol, please (to comply with location policies)

• Make sure the items are securely labeled

• Try to stick to the “bring one, take one” rule

• Don’t take more than one of any item until everyone has had a chance
