Open Orchard Skills Lab: Thinning Apple Trees!

What a spring so far! The Dr. Bob Norton Memorial Orchard is brimming with green -- both leaves and unripened fruit. We will be holding a training session at the orchard to teach you how, when, and why to thin apples, then everyone will be putting that knowledge to practice by thinning the fruit from the orchard's apple trees. If you'd like guidance on thinning your own trees, bring a couple pictures on your phone and we'll give you our two cents.

Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM

Location: Dr. Bob Norton Memorial Orchard,10030 SW 210th St, Vashon, WA 98070
