We will be touring VIFC member David Vogel’s orchard which was planted in Spring 2023. It is surrounded by 8’ metal deer fencing and irrigated from an artesian spring well. There are 36 fruit trees, eleven of which are cider apples. Several of the trees are planted 1 1/2 feet from pollinating trees to maximize pollination.
