Vashon Thriftway & Vashon Market IGA Community Donation Program

Vashon Thriftway and Vashon Market IGA will donate 1% of all purchases from grocery receipts VIFC turns in to these island businesses.

This is an important year round fundraising vehicle we rely on that supports the club’s programming.

Thank you … We really appreciate your support!

How the Program Works

1. Save Your Grocery Receipts:

Cash register receipts must be from Vashon Thriftway or Vashon Market IGA.

2. VIFC Members Can Participate:

Cash register receipts must be for purchases made by Vashon Island Fruit Club members.

3. How to Format Your Receipts:

  • Thriftway

    • Receipts must be less than one calendar year old.

    • Club members must sign each receipt with a legible name and phone number on each receipt.

    • If you provide a group of Thriftway receipts — paper clipped, stapled or in an envelope — only the top receipt has to have your legible name and phone number - but make sure they’re all submitted together.

  • Vashon Market IGA

    • You do not need to add your name and number to any of the receipts and receipts can be more than one year old.

4. How to Deliver Your Receipts:

  • Drop off your receipts at Vashon Island Fruit Club meetings, events or at the Dr. Bob Norton Memorial Orchard in the donation box located at 10088 Southwest 210th Street Vashon, WA.
